In addition to the health benefits of Edible Flowers, they are so much fun to work with in dishes. Most of them add a fun spice that can add a delicious zip to your meal. Fun and pretty as a garnish.
2 C Edible Organic Flowers (usually in produce section)
1 t Water
1 Egg White, room temperature
1/2 C Superfine Sugar
Small Art Paintbrush
Airtight Container and Waxed Paper
Combine water into egg.
Use paintbrush to paint all surface area of flower.
Sprinkle Superfine Sugar evenly over all surface area, don't forget the bottom. Place on drying rack how you would like it to look. Dry for a day or two till stiff.
Place in airtight container on wax paper. Do not refrigerate. Leave in room temperature, preferably in a low humidity room.
